We can handle any query related to our business. If you would like to book a taxi, you have two options. The first is to download our app; it's really simple to use. The second option is to call us on the number below.

Our service will be free for drivers, that means no commission and no radio rent. As far as we know, nobody else offers this in Barnsley, you will keep everything you earn (except for whatever fees your processor charges you).

As much as we would love to provide all of this for free, we are still a business with our own interests.

In exchange for offering a free service for the taxi drivers of Barnsley, we request that drivers attach a free advertisement for one of the companies linked to the owners of Barnsley Taxis - Quick Loans.

Closer to our launch, we will provide more details, but a copy of what the ad would look like has been placed above, the advertisement will be a non-permanent magnetic sign with Quick Loans' logo.

Does this sound like a fair deal? We believe so.

Everyone is well aware of the dangers posed by taxi drivers who are licensed elsewhere. Recently, these incidents have crossed over into criminality, which is unacceptable. Our brand is important to us, and we won't risk allowing drivers from regions with relaxed/negliglent enforcement to jeopardise it.

For this reason, we will only permit taxi drivers on our platform if they are licensed directly with Barnsley Council's licensing department.

Our new system will differ from other types of taxi booking systems. We empower you to control your own pricing, almost as if you are your own operator. Customers can even book you specifically in the future.

Passengers will use their Barnsley Taxi app to indicate the time and location of pickup and their desired drop-off point. You will receive this information on your app and can respond with your own price for the job. The customer will see your bid on their app and decide whom they want to pick them up. They may choose based on price, their previous positive experience with the driver, or the reviews left by others.

The benefits for drivers are significant. They can set prices accordingly, offering discounts for jobs close to their location and adjusting prices during busy periods.

Our new system removes the taxi operator from pricing decisions and puts the driver in control.
