We are unlike any other taxi service in Barnsley. Think of us as the booking system for the whole of Barnsley. Every taxi driver in the Barnsley area has access to our platform. Not only drivers, but other taxi operators in Barnsley can also log in and offer their services to take you where you need to go. With multiple operators and hundreds of drivers on one app - now that's different!

Our system is unlike anything else you will have seen in Barnsley; it's a live price comparison service for taxis. Drivers will compete to obtain your business by offering their best price.

Imagine our app knowing where you are; all you have to do is tell it where you want to go. Wait 20 seconds, and multiple quotes will start to appear. The driver will tell you the price and what time they can pick you up. Then, you can choose the quote you want. You don't have to go for the cheapest; if you see a driver you have used before, you can select them - the choice is yours.

Our apps aren't available to download just yet, our launch date is set for the 17th of June 2024.

The BarnsleyTaxis.uk App will be available for both mobile platforms.

We are involved in the filming of a new documentary series with the BBC. The series revolves around start-up businesses. No passengers will be filmed without their explicit consent during their journey.

The safety of our customers is our paramount concern. Only drivers directly registered with Barnsley Council's Licensing Department can drive for us.
