This page explains how to request deletion of your BarnsleyTaxis (passenger) or BarnsleyTaxis Driver account and the personal data associated with it. The data controller is Barnsley Taxis Ltd, 183 Wakefield Road, Barnsley, S71 1NP.
Your passenger profile, saved places, favourite drivers and login are deleted straight away.
Because drivers are licensed to work under our private-hire operator's licence, we are legally required to keep certain records (see below), so driver deletion is handled by the office:
The office will remove your access and delete data we are not legally required to retain.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@barnsleytaxis.uk from the email or with the phone number on your account. We will verify it's your account before acting on the request.

These are retained only as long as the law requires, then deleted. |
Passenger in-app deletion is immediate. Driver and email requests are actioned within 30 days. Data we are legally required to retain is deleted once the applicable retention period ends.
